What you will do

Our Stack

We use the best tool for the job, whatever technology or method that provides the most leverage. Currently, we:

• Use AWS as our cloud vendor

• Build backends in Node.js

• Utilize both relationship and object databases

• Use both REST and GraphQL

• Believe in clean data objects and typed data

• Use JSON and schemas for everything we do and have been building tooling around this

To be successful as a lead developer, we believe you have:

• 5+ years experience doing professional software development, preferably within a product organization

• Experience with DevOps

• Experience leading software development teams/organizations with responsibility for application development, security, architecture, and infrastructure operations

• Experience working with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure

• Experience working with REST, GraphQL, and JSON-schemas

• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills, and a natural ability to empower the team to become better at what they do

• Experience in the overall architecture of software applications for products and solution

• Designing and integrating software applications running on multiple platform types into the overall architecture

• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. In the end, you're one of the smartest people you know.
